Question for League of legends coaches

Can you boost League of legends ranks?

Do you offer services that help players improve their in-game ranks, and how do you achieve this?

Through out my 11 years of League adventure, I have never particiated in any form of boosting services. And I am not planning to do so in the future. And there are two main reasons:

1: I do not want to. Boosting ruins the game. I firmly believe if someone wants to climb, they should be climbing because of improvement and hardwork, not through cheating ;

2: I am not allowed to do so. I am a coach (even coached a team in Prime League before) and an official caster for Riot Games. Then of course it is prohibited.

I can work with accounts in the Iron-Emerald range on most champs Toplane, and select champs in other the other roles. For the most part, "boosting" isn't usually worth the time, because the amount you can earn on it isn't proportional to the time you have to spend.

When I do a work with someone, it's usually for a student that genuinely has improved a ton or has an alt that they have gotten much higher on, but their main account is mired in iron or bronze or some such.

ahaha that's pretty funny! I was born as an "account booster", in season 9 paired with a challenger talon player we were boosting accounts to master and making tons of money with it (he was actually paying his bills with it). I have no fear saying that I was a booster back in the time, it wasn't that much of an issue basically everyone was doing it, but few could boost fresh accounts up to masters and we were having lots of fun aswell because we were friends so that was kind of special. Also I did try out to boost people on their accounts, but mostly it was just for some of my friends to help the reach gold for the skin of the year and eventually, I stopped doing it because it felt pretty exhausting and not rewarding, also my friend decided to drop aswell.

I will never boost anyone as it not only ruins the games for other people but it also doesn't make sense for the people that request the boost. What's in it for them? The entire goal about ranked in league of legends is to improve, your current rank isn't relevant. It's all about the journey and the improvement so why would anyone want to get boosted in the first place? Instead of investing in boosts, invest in coaching, this way you don't need anyone else to climb for you because now you can do it yourself. Also, a person who's willing to pay someone to boost them in ranked is someone I would never coach as they lack the discipline to climb in league of legends anyway.

Uh.. well I don't particularly do *Boosting* I do Duo Q + coaching . which is basically both of us playing while obviously trying to win but I don't play champions that'll guarantee us the win. even if we're playing in bronze. I'd rather just go Soraka support and try to teach my duo how to make better calls and lead the team into closing games much quicker to guarantee the win. It's more fun when my duo is doing the work because that makes them feel that they're a Big reason of why we've won that game because it doesn't really matter if we won it because of Me afterall.

Yes, I can boost someone's account but I prefer to do that with the student in duo queue. The reason is simple. When I do solo boosting, the owner of the account is not learning anything and eventually, he will fall to the previous rank. Additionally, Riot Games is not accepting "Elo Boosting" so playing duoQ is safer. I have a few accounts with various ranks so it shouldn't be a problem to find a similar elo.

In conclusion, I offer boosting services but I prefer to do that in duoQ.

Currently I don’t offer and kind of directly boosting the rank of people by playing on their accounts or playing together with them. The improvement that I strive for is individual: once we have a couple of sessions, the coached person should definitely see the game in a different light, understand ways in which to profit from common mistakes made by the enemy, and minimize their own.

No, I do not boost ranks. Riot Games strictly forbids these activities and for a good reason. Rank itself, always was and will be tempting to be tempered with by hiring third parties. However, I am strongly against this.

As a Challenger player, I can do it if I wanted, but this is not allowed by Riot and I wouldn't dare risking my coaching career on another industry that has higher risk and lower monetary compensation.
