I have plenty of strategies to help team cohesion and communication during a game. I do offer team coaching in scrims/tournaments, and will write down major points during matches to discuss with teams after each game ends. Most of these subjects include team coordination and communication. During solo sessions, I will provide opportunities for my trainee to IGL (in game lead) and provide feedback on how they do, as well as how they communicate during gunfights.

Absolutely. Playing on a competitive team in every spot gives me a unique advantage to have an inside out view of each dynamic in the team, as well as understanding how to communicate to give your other teammates the information they need. Playing together and getting a good team synergy is so important to being a successful team. Understanding the action your teammates will do, and predicting their plays will help a players team leaps and bounds. Communication is so important to tell your teammates the information that you have, and the action you're taking so your teammates can either support you, or play off of your decisions. This means that communicating in a quick and precise manner is very important.

One tip i give out to teams that want to learn to communicate better as a team is to take time to listen to others and adapt on working with each other. I see so many teams that shout out comms to each other but don't actually take in any of the information their team is giving them so the comms are just useless. The person who is most confident within the game and has the best knowledge and understanding of the game is the person who needs to be the IGL (In-game leader). They need to take control of all calls and decisions made in the game to help the team follow a path. This allows the team to then be more coordinated and make better plays.

I love having sessions with Teams much more then a single person, i find the challenge and the dynamic a lot more interesting in which i find the balance of chemistry and individual contribution. I tend to take the IGL (in-game leader) role when i play personally, i've always been a leader type of person and very vocal.

So when i coach a team, i typically look first at the IGL player and ensure they're playing their role correctly and more importantly communicating properly. I then look at the other roles: Fragger and the Anchor and see if they are playing their respective roles correctly and communicating correctly.

Then its a matter of replacing one of the team members and showing them live how the role "should" be played and what kind of calls/comms thee role "should" be vocalizing.

But of course, when team dynamic comes into play - there is the social notion and the chemistry between players that i hep build/fix/tighten to ensure everyone is in thier best mindset outside the game too.

Improving team cohesion and communication during gameplay is crucial for success in Apex Legends. Here are the strategies I use to enhance these aspects:

Focused Callouts: I emphasize the importance of clear and concise callouts because effective communication ensures that everyone on the team is aware of the situation they are in.

Role Definition: I help players understand their roles within the team dynamic. Whether they are the In-Game Leader (IGL), the fragger, or the support player, each role has specific responsibilities. I guide them on how to play their chosen legends effectively based on these roles. This role clarity allows for better coordination and synergy during engagements.

Positioning Awareness: Teammates' positioning is crucial for effective gameplay. I teach players to be mindful of both their own positioning and the positions of their teammates. Proper positioning ensures that they can provide cover, flank opponents, or support their teammates as needed. Being aware of each other's locations fosters a cohesive team strategy.

Feedback and Analysis: After gameplay sessions, I review clips with players, highlighting key moments that showcase both successful teamwork and areas for improvement. By visually demonstrating their actions, players can better understand their decisions and their impact on the team. Constructive feedback helps them recognize mistakes and encourages them to make better decisions in future matches.
